THE PIPES is a vocal, clarinet and bass-clarinet trio performing original tunes by beloved local trumpet player/composer Darren Johnston. Sparse eerie woodwind arrangements and captivating solos soar and careen in a blend of experimental chamber folk with a jazz reduction.
